Filling Applications

As to filling materials (hyaluronic acid, collagen, calcium hydroxylapatite, autogenous fat tissue), these are materials which are produced in special laboratories and used in treatment of facial volume loss, deep wrinkles, marionette and lip lines that become increasingly apparent due to aging. Filling injections are performed into dermis layer in the skin with a very thin pointed needle.They are used especially for smoothing fine wrinkles and lip enhancement.

Fine lines above the upper lip, two skin lines that run from each side of the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial fold), lines at the corners of the mouth and frown lines on forehead are the areas in which it is mostly applied and that give the most positive results.

Filling applications are short procedures which are performed in the office and very easy to apply with regard to patient. No significant swelling and erythema occur after the procedure and patient can immediately return to daily activities.

The effects of filling materials emerge immediately after their application and their efficiency continue for 8- 24 months  depending on the property of the active ingredient. Usually, no complications are encountered after procedures that have been applied properly and effectively.
